Gorilla Glue

is an American brand of polyurethane adhesives. They are known for their original Gorilla Glue, which was first sold to consumers in 1999. The company has since branched out to make a line of similar products, including tapes, epoxies, and other adhesives.
The Gorilla Glue Company is based in Cincinnati, Ohio and has been operating for over a decade

Polyurethane glues had been popular outside the United States for some time, and were widely used in the woodworking industry. The product was "discovered" by Mark Singer in 1994 being used in Indonesia to make teak furniture. The product was imported to the US and originally sold only to furniture manufacturers.
The company began selling Gorilla Glue to consumers in 1999.
Later, the company was purchased by Lutz Tool Company which later changed its name to The Gorilla Glue Company

Is a manufacturer of power tools. Founded on March 21, 1915, it is based in Anjō, Japan, and operates factories in Brazil, Canada, China, Japan, Mexico, Romania, the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States.
Annual sales were equivalent to $2.9 billion in 2012. Makita assembles a significant amount of their tools sold in North America in their Buford, Georgia factory.


In March 1915, Mosaburo Makita founded Makita Electric Works (proprietorship) in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan and began selling and repairing lighting equipment, motors, and transformers.
In April 1969, they introduced the 6500D battery-powered drill (the first rechargeable power tool).
In December 1978, they launched the 6010D re-chargeable drill (the first nickel cadmium battery tool).
In August 1997, the 6213D rechargeable driver-drill was exhibited at the Chicago Hardware Show (the first nickel hydride battery tool).
In February 2005, the TD130D (the first lithium-ion battery tool) was made available.

Is an American worldwide brand of power tools and hand tools for the construction, manufacturing and woodworking industries. DeWalt is a trade name of Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc., a subsidiary of Stanley Black & Decker


The original company was started in 1923 by Raymond E. DeWalt, the inventor of the radial arm saw. The company grew quickly and was reorganized and re-incorporated in 1947 as DeWalt Inc.
In 1992, Black & Decker started a major effort to rebrand its professional quality and high-end power tools to DeWalt.
In 2004, Black and Decker bought rival power tool manufacturer Porter-Cable and combined it with DeWalt in Jackson, Tennessee.
In 2011, DeWalt launched a line of contractors' hand tools.
In 2013, DeWalt issued a press release stating it would be bringing some assembly of a small selection of their products to the US using globally manufactured parts from Brazil, China, the Czech Republic, Italy, Mexico, the UK, and the US.
In April 2016, DeWalt created an Android-powered smartphone designed for building industry workers. The device costs £379 ($544), is designed to survive a 2m drop onto concrete and can operate in temperatures ranging from −20C to 60C.

is a brand of hand tools. It is a division of Stanley Black & Decker, following the merger of The Stanley Works with Black & Decker in March 2010

The Stanley Rule and Level Company was founded in 1857 by Henry Stanley in New Britain, Connecticut. In 1920, this company merged with the separate but related Stanley Works, founded by Henry Stanley's cousin Frederick Trent Stanley, and continued operating as its hand tools division


Stanley is a well known brand of tools and has produced millions of hand planes, saws, rulers, try squares, chisels, screwdrivers, and many other types of tools for consumer and for industrial use.
